Big Paws Little Paws offers grooming services as well as a full boarding kennel! Big Paws Little Paws is owned by Elizabeth Lamm & Alaina Lamm. We have been grooming since 2005 and opened our boarding kennel in 2012. We offer grooming services by appointment Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays. Our boarding kennel has drop-off and pick-up times every weekday, Saturdays, and we also have a Sunday time. The shop and kennel are built onto a home, so even when the kennel is closed there is almost always one of us there on the premises. Our shop and kennel are also equipped with a security & smoke alarm system.

Our grooming services are available by appointment. We offer bathing, blow-dry, hair cuts/trims, de-matting and de-shedding, nail trimming and grinding, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. We also do medicated baths if your dog has a special or prescription shampoo that you would like to bring. We require that canine grooming clients be up-to-date on yearly parvo, distemper, and rabies vaccines as well as bordetella or kennel cough vaccine, given by a veterinarian. We require feline customers to be vaccinated by a veterinarian with the yearly fvrcp vaccine as well as rabies. We welcome even the dirtiest, filthiest critters, but we do charge an extra $7.00 if your pet has signs of fleas. This covers the cost of a Capstar tablet and bathing with Ectosoothe flea shampoo. This ensures that your pet will go home free of fleas, and that other pets at the grooming shop won't be exposed to fleas. The Capstar and Ectosoothe shampoo do not have a lasting effect after 24 hours, so we recommend you use a monthly flea preventative from your veterinarian to keep the fleas from returning.

Our boarding kennel features indoor/outdoor runs. The inside of the kennel is heated and air-conditioned, and each run has its own pet door to a covered individual outdoor run. We have a securely fenced play yard that is a little less than an acre, full of grass and trees and lots of space to run and play! Each dog goes out individually for playtime and bathroom breaks several times throughout the day. We also board cats and small critters, and they stay inside in a heated/air conditioned part of the shop separate from the dog kennel. Kitties get their playtime too, just not outside in the dog yard! :) We require canine and feline kennel customers to be current on their yearly vaccines, given by a veterinarian. This includes distemper, parvovirus, rabies, and bordetella vaccines for dogs. Cats need to be current on their yearly FVRCP vaccine and rabies. We will need owners to bring a printout from your vet showing dates and vaccines given.
